Our mission is to make life better for young mums and their babies. We provide support, outreach and education.
We are a not for profit, community organisation made up of passionate, energetic volunteers united in the vision that teen mums can be GREAT mums and their babies can thrive with good family and community support. We are about building a 'family' around those who need that kind of support.
Established in Launceston Tasmania, we are partnering with City Mission to provide accommodation, support, outreach and education programs for pregnant and first time mums under the age of 21.
Babymum Australia is a fast growing organisation enjoying links with other groups in the community and enabled by partners, sponsors, community grants and fundraising to grow our vision.
We believe that whatever has happened before, every mum and her baby needs to know they are special. We believe that every child has a right to a family, and every family a community that gives hope and a future for its children.
